Sakowin, specialized in the manufacture of sustainable hydrogen production reactors without CO emissions2accelerates its growth and announces having raised funds of more than one million euros from four industrial partners: Ponticelli Frères, ADF Group, AES DANA and Saint-Gobain.
The company offers a breakthrough innovation by implementing microwave plasma technology in a new field: the decomposition of methane into gaseous hydrogen and solid carbon.
The South Beach solution developed by Sakowin is modular, compact and stackable for the production of hydrogen on site, on demand. It requires five times less electrical energy than an electrolyzer, produces hydrogen at a competitive cost and a black carbon with multiple future opportunities.
Gérard Gatt, CEO of Sakowin, said: “We are developing the next generation of sustainable, CO2-free hydrogen.2 and at a competitive cost. »
An ambitious promise that meets the commitments of nearly a hundred States and thousands of companies and communities to achieve carbon neutrality between 2050 and 2070 while human activity has generated no less than 51 billion tonnes of CO2 in 2019.
With its four new financial and industrial partners, the company is broadening its scope:
• solution to extract oil and gas without CO emissions2 using fatal gas from wells, converted into hydrogen and solid carbon, in partnership with Ponticelli Frères;
• hydrogen recharging solutions for aircraft. Sakowin was selected by ADP, Airbus and Air France to provide the on-site and on-demand hydrogen delivery solution for the new hydrogen airport infrastructure;
• solution to produce hydrogen and carbon for CO negative agriculture2in partnership with AES DANA;
• solution to decarbonize industrial processes, in partnership with the Saint-Gobain group.
Sakowin has built a team with complementary expertise and skills to meet the requirements of the company’s growth at each stage with nine experts in physics, chemistry, electronics, industrialization, finance and business development, three doctor members with experience in physics and microwave plasma, radio frequencies and microphysics.
The company relies on the support and guidance of its board members with backgrounds in finance, science and engineering.
