Raphaël Goerens, director of the Hyvolution Paris show, reveals the ambitions and challenges of this key edition. While hydrogen decarbon is entering an industrial maturity phase, the show stands out as a strategic meeting to build the future of this essential sector for the global energy transition.
What are the main objectives and challenges of this new Hyvolution edition?
Hyvolution Paris is a world leader in the actors of decarbon hydrogen. This sector is part of 2025 in an industrial maturation phase, reflecting developments in the sector. After a period of strong growth, the market is consolidated throughout the value chain: production of decarbon hydrogen, infrastructure, storage and deployment (mobility, industry, etc.).
While the sector is at a pivotal moment in its development, Hyvolution Paris 2025 therefore promises to be a key edition. Our singularity lies in our ability to bring together the entire value chain, from equipment manufacturers to integrators, from project developers to end users, from investors to local authorities.
The players in the sector need more than ever to meet to find collective solutions, build partnerships and access international markets. Hyvolution Paris continues to position itself as the accelerator of the development of the sector, in France and abroad. Our ambition is clear: to make Hyvolution an international platform that goes far beyond the French framework to become the essential global meeting in the sector.
What will be the strengths and news of the show this year?
The 2025 edition of Hyvolution Paris is articulated around three fundamental dimensions which reflect the current needs of the sector. First of all, we significantly strengthen our international dimension. With a third of international exhibitors, Paris asserts itself as a global stronghold of hydrogen. This internationalization is also reflected in the participation of major official delegations, illustrating the growing attractiveness of our event.
The second dimension concerns the content, considerably enriched this year. Our new conference format addresses strategic subjects, such as mutual recognition of certification schemes, echoing the commitments of COP28, or even sustainable economic models for industry. The mobility conference will present concrete advances in transport, while Hyvolution Money Talks will bring together investors and project leaders to accelerate the financing of the sector. These conferences are designed to provide concrete answers to the current challenges of the sector. They complete the existing system: the Hyvolution Summitmeet political and economic leaders to dialogue around global strategies, and Hyvolution Workshopswhich give access to 120 speeches around projects and solutions.
Finally, the dimension business Remains at the heart of our event with nearly 550 exhibitors. This number is stable and reflects the natural consolidation of the sector, where projects become more ambitious and more structuring. In this dynamic, our role is also evolving: beyond a meeting platform, we become a real catalyst for the co-construction of the ecosystems necessary for the future development of the sector.
Hyvolution Summit focuses on the major strategic challenges of hydrogen. What crucial subjects will be discussed this year?
The year 2025 marks a pivotal moment for the hydrogen industry with the opening of new gigafactories and large -scale projects. This industrial expansion, supported by strong political strategies, is essential to structure supply and demand in a sustainable manner. Discussions will focus on emerging initiatives between users and suppliers, the visibility necessary for a successful industrial transition and strategic priorities to promote increased adoption of hydrogen.
Companies with industrial -size initiatives are at the heart of the challenge that major projects represent in progress and their competitiveness. Representatives of large groups (Stellantis, Air Liquide, KLM, Nextchem, etc.) will give their vision of the emergence of the sector, between pioneer role and new markets to be structured.
In echo, public powers and international bodies (European Commission, Hydrogen Europe, etc.) will share their orientations, since they are strongly asked to support the deployment of hydrogen. A few weeks after COP29, Hyvolution Summit will thus bring together the decision -makers engaged in a high -level dialogue in phase with the climatic issues.
How Hyvolution facilitates the opportunities of networking And collaborations?
Our digital platform, Hyvolution Hub, now has more than 35,000 connected professionals! It promotes quality connection during the event, ensures the continuity of exchanges between the editions of the Salon, and offers premium content, such as replays of the workshops and thematic webinars.
How does Hyvolution contribute to raising awareness and promoting hydrogen as a key solution for energy transition?
Created in 2016, Hyvolution supported all the development phases of the hydrogen sector, its emergence to its current industrial consolidation. This unique experience gives us an in -depth understanding of the challenges of the sector and the needs of its actors, making the fair a privileged observer and a catalyst for its development.
The hydrogen sector is thus at a decisive moment in its development. The opportunities offered by this technology are immense, but they do not take the need to overcome certain economic, political and technological obstacles. Hyvolution, as a central platform, plays a catalyst role by strengthening synergies between the different actors.
