After a digital edition, Hydrogen Business for Climate-CONNECT, the Vehicle of the Future cluster, with the support of the State, the Region, Belfort and Grand Belfort and Pays de Montbéliard Agglomération, announces the first face-to-face edition of the Hydrogen Business for Climate forum, September 29 and 30, 2021, at the Atria in Belfort.
This transnational event aims to make the hydrogen energy transition effective in France and Europe. Objectives: to shed light on the hydrogen markets, foster cooperation, launch business projects and accelerate the implementation of concrete solutions in order to contribute to the realization of the Europe of hydrogen.
To this end, the Forum is structured around five plenary conferences and eight workshops led by specialists aimed at exchanging and bringing out new solutions. “Business” oriented B2B meetings are also organized between all Forum participants. Site visits will allow you to discover particularly cutting-edge business initiatives. Finally, an exhibition space will bring together companies that are revolutionizing the hydrogen sector.
An exceptional witness: Mike Horn
Recognized as one of the greatest adventurers of modern times, Mike Horn joined forces with Cyril Despres, Vaison Sportet and a team of CEA scientists to develop the “GEN Z” project, with a unique objective. horizon 2023: win the Dakar by emitting only water vapor, thanks to a hydrogen engine. He will share his experience of the 2021 Dakar, where he collected information so that the “GEN Z” vehicle can fight against thermal engine vehicles, as well as his vision of the future during a conference “ Preserve the planet, be able to leave a future for the younger generation », September 29 at 5:30 p.m.
The hydrogen sector will of course be present. Faurecia renews its confidence by being a new Platinum partner of the Forum, as well as Alstom, EDF, Engie and Rougeot as Gold partners. After announcing last May that it had preselected the Belfort site to build its electrolyser gigafactory, McPhy, a specialist in zero-carbon hydrogen production and distribution equipment, in turn becomes a Gold partner of the Forum. Laurent Carme, general manager of McPhy, will speak during one of the conferences.

From the first day, plenary conferences, workshops and B2B meetings will be organized, particularly popular during the online edition of the CONNECT forum… On the second day, September 30, participants will also have the opportunity to participate visits to the Faurecia Clean Mobility-R&D Center as well as the FC Lab and H2SYS.
