    H2X ECOSYSTEMS : A territorial model

Creating a complete territorial energy system for controlled, low-carbon user costs is the ambition of the company H2X Ecosystems, already implemented in Redon. A deployment that involves completely rethinking our energy-economic model.

    Framework and perspectives

H2X Ecosystems offers territories the opportunity to create a complete ecosystem combining the deployment of renewable energies, reuse of effluents for the production of renewable hydrogen, and its uses, including low-carbon mobility. The territorial valorization of gaseous co-products of electrolysis is also considered for each ecosystem. For its president, Stéphane Paul, it is important to have control over the entire system. “We offer PEM electrolysers based on renewable energies, a hydrogen distribution solution with off-grid stations with removable tank for mobile or stationary use; we also offer DC/DC converters for powers from 500 W to 5 kW. We have also developed a Shyva electric generator (350 kW), which can be used for applications on the electricity network or for stationary or mobile use (boat, etc.), which will also be used in Morocco during the Gazelles Rally. We pay attention to all sources of renewable electricity production (wind power, photovoltaics, etc.). We also monitor innovations (wave energy for example). In addition, we have developed our own 5 kW fuel cell, coupled to our Amphyra connected tank. In addition, we are also working on a lightweight (600 kg) solar/hydrogen hybrid car that can travel 500 km with 700 g of hydrogen. It is an integral part of our territorial energy approach since its low consumption makes it economically efficient, with autonomy of travel, without carbon emissions and without environmental pollution (air, noise, etc.). »

    Rethinking the energy model

H2X Ecosystems makes environmentally friendly energy and mobility accessible for everyone. Thanks to a hybrid car running on both solar energy and hydrogen, you no longer need charging stations to travel wherever you want. “Our ambition: to recreate sustainable industrial activity and restore the attractiveness of cities located in sparsely populated areas. We believe we need to review our energy model to move from a top-down centralized vertical system to a bottom-up local production/consumption model. Our vehicle in development and a (production) price per kilo of hydrogen of 10 euros today, with a perspective of 6 euros in the medium/short term, make it possible to make our economic model viable and creating real values. The municipalities of the Redon agglomeration, which created the Mhoove company to carry out the project, today bear positive witness to this experience which aims to be multiplied in all territories. H2X Ecosystems’ economic model is based on sharing values with all stakeholders. H2X Ecosystems combines hydrogen production and mobility and delivery services: self-service cars, with or without a driver, delivery. We want to make energy and environmentally friendly mobility accessible to everyone. Our job is to assemble the techniques allowing the implementation of territorial energy at affordable costs. The objective is also that the components of this system come from France, with the idea of recreating territorial value and not making systems dependent on state subsidies. We therefore work with professionals from Brest and Quimper in particular, but also from other regions of France. And we provide proof that we can make self-consumed French carbon-free hydrogen directly on site. The idea today is to move up a gear with real financial ecosystems and with a redistribution of dividends across the territories. »
