Symbio unveiled its next generation of hydrogen fuel cell technology at CES Next Gen StackPacks in December 2022 with optimized performance for an ultra-compact system.
Symbio, one of the five global leaders in fuel cell technology, unveils new developments in its technology and its roadmap for H2Motive products at CES 2023 in Las Vegas.
Its StackPacks fuel cells are designed to meet the needs of all mobility applications, covering a wide power range from 40 kW to 300 kW. They are very compact and adapted to each customer use case.
Symbio, a joint venture of Faurecia & Michelin, announces that its optimized StackPack 40 (“T5”) will be industrialized at large scale by the end of 2023, in line with the development plans of its customer and partner Stellantis to scale up the use of hydrogen technology on different platforms. Offering a power density of 3.9 kW/L, the durability of this 40 kW system has been improved to reach 7,000 hours of durability despite the extremely demanding duty cycles of light commercial vehicles.
